Just wanted to voice my enthusiasm for your proposal and also mention that you can install a WordPress plugin that will make your blog entries Zotero-compatible.

Looking forward to following the development of your project . . .

Hi Patrick,
With this in place, creating and managing electronic portfolios would become much easier.
Yeah I think so, a single identifier and everything follows.

Thanks for your enthousiasm in the idea, now the next step is to make Zotero developers interested in it. I can't see why it couldn't work.

Take care,

Fred

An excellent idea -- and much welcome because it will help bring more humanities teachers and their students into the semantic web fold. I think that when things like this come together, the teachers, librarians, and students will be clamoring for more.

One possible connection into education might be that something like this could facilitate the creation of student portfolios of their career at a university--an idea that is getting a lot of attention in higher ed (at least in the U.S.). With this in place, creating and managing electronic portfolios would become much easier.

Thanks much!
